How to look NOT Basic in Basics

I’ve been buying these trouser-capri length pants like crazy lately. I honestly don’t know what made me try on my first pair because they’ve honestly never been my thing before, but a few weeks and more than 6 pairs later, I may officially have a problem. They are just so easy for styling, the perfect fit pant that comes in a variety of styles, colors and prints. Like, what more could you want? I’ve seen virtually every type of trouser, preppy, trendy, striped, graphic, leather, silk, ripped and even leopard print. I’m stocking up on this classic piece even if it is nearing the dark days of summer! I’m getting kind of excited at how prepared for fall I’ll be too, but that’s an entirely different post all in its own.

Currently I’m finding myself wear these pants with a simple tank or my favorite combo; with a crop top. Today I kept it extremely casual, a simple color palate and these oh so comfy sandals I scored at Nordstrom Rack for under $20!
