Back to Reality

After the madness that is SXSW its hard to get back to the normality of an every day life. Last year was the worst for me because I LIVED SXSW, I was there daily by noon and leaving well into the wee hours of the morning with sore feet and blisters to prove my good times. This year’s wasn’t too bad though, I didn’t really get out as much as last year and that was in part to my low energy level and also SXSW just held a little less appeal than previous years to me. Although, there are rumors that I missed Drake at Fader Fort, I’m too nervous to check and confirm. That would be totally soul crushing especially since I had a wristband just no energy to get in line.

Today I’m back to my typical Monday routine; returning emails, grocery shopping, getting a car wash and fresh flowers for the house. It randomly got really cold over the weekend here in Austin which threw a fork in my “Lay out all week” plans, but soon.
