I don’t know about you but scoring a dress that hits the mark on not one but two big Spring trends is a for sure win in my book.
Off the shoulder was everywhere on the SS16 runways; laser cut structure from Christopher Kane, implied with sheer embroidery from Diane Von Furstenberg and with Spanish flair on the Proenza Schouler runway, which is what inspired me today. Spanish flair being the second trend that was everywhere on the runway for Spring 2016.
Speaking of runway and designer trends; Romwe, where this dress is from, has so many straight from the runway styles at real girl prices. It’s one of my favorite online shops for trendier styles because everything is so affordable that when it goes out of style you don’t feel like you wasted any money. They also have tons of classic pieces for building up your wardrobe like skinny jeans for under $20, blouses, coats under $50 and even fun accessories. What I love about Romwe is that unlike some of those other ‘inexpensive’ sites you actually get “normal girl sized” clothing, you know what I mean? It’s not crazy weird proportions or completely sheer materials which is everything when you’re ordering online. Nothing is more annoying than waiting for that perfect piece only for it to come in and not fit. I ordered up a size for this dress and got a medium just in case it ran short but I could’ve gotten a small and been just fine.
Off the shoulder styles already tend to give a romantic and sometimes latin flair. This one especially had that “Spanish” vibe with the embroidered edging, adding the pops of red and lace up heels sealed the deal in my opinion.
Big thanks to Romwe for sponsoring this post, though the dress was gifted to me all opinions and complete love of this dress is mine & mine alone.
