Hey loves, it’s almost Friday!! Do you start your weekend today or tomorrow? I’m easing into it today with this fun shirtdress that I picked up a couple weeks ago at Nordstrom Rack. The shape and length of this dress is perfect for a casual work setting (with a blazer or cardigan), light weight enough to run errands in this Texas heat without getting a heat stroke and yet still cute enough to meet up with the girls for happy hour right after work.

One of the main things I’ve noticed and loved about starting this blog is how much it’s taken me out of my old fashion comfort zone. Dressing head to toe in blue is new to me but having what I like to call ‘outfit accountability’ makes you get a little more creative with your purchases and even with working with what you already have. I love it, challenging myself each day to put together a chic, outfit that’s blog-worthy but still 100% ME. I’ve started stepping out of my comfort zone in both the color and shape department, experimenting with different silhouettes and trying my hand at incorporating trendier pieces into my otherwise classic wardrobe.
